Thrust Restraints

Vibro-Acoustics’ HCS and AHCS thrust restraints provide resistance to horizontal motion due to thrust (for example, air pressure from a fan). Applied in pairs, the Vibro-Acoustics thrust restraints include spring isolation as well as mounting brackets for attachment to the equipment. The uniquely-engineered springs are powder-coated to endure a variety of environments, and other hardware shown is zinc-plated. All the springs provided are color-coded for easy identification.

Applications include indoor mechanical equipment requiring horizontal restraint and isolation. Typical equipment may include base-mounted and suspended fans.
